Boring Blog Stats – March 2010
April 2, 2010 1 Comment
Last month saw both my blogs take a big tumble in the number of hits they received. Would the fresh beginnings of Spring see them fully recover? Well, no. But they did do better than last month so I can’t really complain.
In February, the figures were:
The World of Sherby57 – Total hits = 770, average hits per day = 27.5
Pour Some Gravy On Me – Total hits = 818, average hits per day = 29.2
In March, they were:
Sherby57 – Total hits = 989, average hits per day = 31.9
PSGOM – Total hits = 1126, average hits per day = 36.3
It’s nice to be back around the 1000 hits mark, even though it is a completely arbitrary, meaningless number. I’m just crazy like that.
Top Posts for the Month
Sherby57 -
I’m not going to bother listing the top Sherby57 posts because they’re the same ones that they always are (check out an old edition of BBS for details). Is there any way that I can break this tedious monopoly? I don’t honestly know. If anyone has any ideas then let me know.
PSGOM -
Home Page – 455
Sex Sells: The Mr Banana Penis Story – 58
Primark’s The Spot – 47
It’s nice to see that my waffle category is proving so popular, as I can quite easily waffle about stuff that has happened to me all day long. Who would have thought that going to Primark and having a shower would prove so popular?
Top Search Terms of All Time
In a change of pace, I thought I’d take a look at the most popular search engine terms that managed to find my blogs.
Sherby57 -
human penis – 1,049 searches
penis – 472 searches
geordie jokes – 394 searches
bodyguard – 355 searches
geordie jeans – 209 searches
PSGOM -
stacey solomon upskirt – 72 searches
jonas altberg sex tape – 71 searches
sex penis – 59 searches
jonas altberg penis – 57 searches
banana penis – 39 searches
Gosh, the internet really is a squalid place, isn’t it? How depressing that I’ve gotten so many hits from penis related searches. Thank god for the Geordies and bodyguards for giving the results an air of respectability. I guess the moral of the story is that if you want to just say that your blog gets a lot of hits then just fill it with pervy phrases. The irony is that by listing all the terms then I’m just making it more likely that I’m going to get more bogus, pervy hits. I’ll let you know how this post does next month.
