I read an interview with Dan Clark where he mentions this difference between Abby and Sam is that Abby was never intended to be a comedy character, but someone for Don to react off, whereas Sam was allowed to be funny. I especially liked Sam’s ‘Sex & The City’ hen party moment in the last episode. Abby served her purpose but was a bit of a dead-weight comedy wise.

Love the write up of How Not To Live Your Life, but I have to say I preferred series one purely because I think I love Sinead Moynihan, Sam was great and a better character but Abbie had the best boobs ever
