No Time To Blog: Day 4

It’s Saturday, hooray!  It’s also the day that I’m supposed to get back in to the swing of blogging, so I don’t have to resort to No Time To Blog next week.  I’m not feeling particularly motivated, but I’m hoping to get in to the swing of it, once I start.

Last night’s entry, At The Wedding, was so short that it might as well have been a tweet, but then I was at a wedding reception, and blogging for any more than a minute is somewhat frowned upon.  You’ll all be extremely pleased to learn that I had a good old-fashioned boogie, but it took a while for me to ‘feel the music’, I didn’t even get up when the DJ had a Motown section, which I think is shocking.  The DJ had some interesting song choices, including the theme tune to Cagney & Lacey and Informer by Snow.  I said jokingly that the next song would be Oh Carolina by Shaggy.  And it was.  I was coerced in to doing a bit of jiving at one point and somehow got through it even though I had no clue what I was doing.  I must be a natural.

Liverpool play West Ham later, and it’s on ESPN.  I will have to start making plans on how I’m going to watch it.   After I’ve done some more blogging, of course.
