No Time To Blog: Day 3
September 18, 2009 2 Comments
It’s day 3 of 7 and I’m already fed up, which is why it is dinner time before I’m writing today’s first post. It could well end up also being the last post. I’m hoping to get a second wind at some point, although I’m not sure I ever had a first one.
A normal person would give up now, but I refuse to be normal! Part of the reason for my refusal to give up is that it’s worth seeing the ‘experiment’ through to the end; the other reason is that it would mean me writing about some proper stuff and I still need to catch up.
At least it’s Friday, although Friday afternoon often really drags. I’ve got plenty to do though so it should keep me occupied. I’m off to a wedding reception tonight, so if anybody fancies a dance, you know where I’ll be. I’m actually rather a nifty little mover, but, then again, this is only my opinion and I’m rather biased.
This is the second Friday night in a row that I’ll be going to a wedding reception, and the second Friday in a row in which I’ll be wearing shirt and trousers to go out in. Before last week, I can’t remember the last time that was the case, it’s easily over 3 years ago. I can’t stand wearing shirts out of work, I just don’t feel right in them. Is there a psychological reason for this? Or am I just a natural scruff? That’s for you to decide.
Well, that’s me done for now. I might be back later tonight to tell you about the buffet.

Where’s your reception. Not ‘the park’, the jewel in charnock richard’s crown?
Sadly, Charnock Richard wasn’t on the agenda, I had the delights of St Helens, home of glass. They’re absolutely glass mad, even the cups that they have drinks in were made out of glass.
