A Tribute To Me
September 4, 2009 4 Comments
It’s been a very rewarding week in my blogging career; PSGOM got a record 98 hits and one day, and my good friend, Dr Angel, has posted a wonderful tribute to my other blog, The World of Sherby57. The link to the doc’s post is here:

Blogging is a bit of a thankless task, so it’s nice to be appreciated. It leaves me only to give big gravy-filled thank you to Doctor A. and the Sheds Massive.

Dually thanked on both blogs. I feel like a tube of Loreal revitalift, or a tube of crest or a BOGOF. x
It’s made my day doubly exciting to induce in you such wondrous feelings. If you were a BOGOF then you’d be fantastic value.
Why thank you. As you say, Blogging is indeed a thankless task. Even if someone chuckled at your post or even laughed uproariously, what stares back at you is the deafening rejection of ‘there are no comments. Leave a comment’. I’m a strong believer in the collective consciousness and that nature hates a vacuum, so by showing appreciation for others, in some way changes things for you too.
So. Ultimately selfish then.
Lol We’re all ultimately selfish, but if you can spread a little joy in your self interest then you’re not doing bad. I try to leave comments on random blogs that I visit and enjoy. Of course, I try and leave some shameless plugs for my own blogs while I’m there!
I’ll head on over to your excellent blog now, to see what I can comment on.
