Welcome to WordPress

People say that there is nothing more boring than listening to someone else describe their dreams.  This is not technically true; there is nothing more boring than reading a blog post about posting on a blog. In which case, I apologise in advance.

Welcome to the official opening of  Pour Some Gravy On Me’s new home at WordPress.   It’s been months since I’ve done any blogging, either here or over on The World Of Sherby57, so when I decided to write some new posts I decided it was time to get PSGOM off Blogger.  

Sherby57 has always been on WordPress, but when I created PSGOM I thought I’d give Blogger a go, mainly because quite a few blogs I had been reading use it.  To cut a boring story short, I didn’t really get on with it from day one, and the lack of any blog stats made it unbearable (yes, I actually enjoy being able to quantify how few hits I get).  So I decided to move.

And here I am! I’m in the process of migrating the posts from Blogger over here, maybe they’ll actually show up in google searches now.  Feel free to read them if you dare.  I don’t know quite what I’m going to write about this time around; I seemed to write an awful lot about reality TV in the past, and I still don’t understand the reasons why.  Hopefully I will write something semi-interesting, stranger things have happened.

P.s.

On the subject of reality TV, I covered this year’s Celebrity Big Brother for the last ten days of its run, right up to the final, only to disappear in to thin air. So as a matter of closure: Ulrika won, we didn’t expect it. Better luck next time.
